Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili met Turkiye’s Grand National Assembly Georgia-Turkiye Inter-Parliamentary Group Chair, Faruk Çelik, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, prospects to further deepen the Georgia-Turkiye strategic partnership were reviewed, focusing on the intensification of parliamentary cooperation and highlighting the significance of high-level visits.
Speaking about the ongoing processes in the region, the role of Georgia and Turkiye in promoting stability and peace in the region was accentuated.
The sides reviewed trade and economic cooperation and the need to fully utilize the transit and transport potential of the two countries in the context of the Middle Corridor development.
