Georgian FM holds telephone call with Turkmen Foreign Minister
The Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, has held a telephone conversation with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia reported.
According to the foreign ministry, the ministers reviewed matters concerning bilateral cooperation and discussed the scheduled upcoming visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Georgia. The discussion also highlighted the vital importance of deepening cooperation between Georgia and the Central Asian nations.
Both parties discussed prospects for the future advancement of bilateral relations and emphasised the vital importance of maintaining high-level dialogue.
