Georgian First Channel digitising Anzor Erkomaishvili's recordings

Dedicated to Anzor Erkomaishvili’s 80th anniversary, Georgian First Channel has started digitising the recordings preserved in its Golden Fund.

Giorgi Chartolani, Head of the Archives of Georgian First Channel, said: “Erkomaishvili’s recordings are valuable not only for our broadcaster but also for Georgian culture in general.”

According to him, the digital video and audio materials will be uploaded on www.1tv.ge

Anzor Erkomaishvili, the famous singer, choirmaster, composer, founder of the Rustavi Ensemble and the Martve Ensemble turns 80 on August 10.
