Georgian Ministers of Economy, Finance and Regional Development held a meeting with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Odile Renaud-Basso, at the Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.
Levan Davitashvili, Lasha Khutsishvili and Irakli Karseladze discussed with the EBRD President the cooperation priority issues, focusing on financing future projects in renewable energy and transport infrastructure modernization.
The EBRD invested EUR 4.9 billion to implement 270 projects in Georgia. It was noted that the bank would continue to cooperate fruitfully with Georgia to assist local entrepreneurs in reaping the benefits of the EU-Georgia Free Trade Agreement.
