Georgian citizens to no longer benefit from simplified labor visas in Poland
Georgian citizens will no longer benefit from simplified labor visas in Poland, the Polish Embassy in Georgia announced.
The new decree by the Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy defines the countries whose citizens can benefit from simplified procedures if they wish to work in Poland.
The exemption had so far been available only to citizens of Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine. However, under the new regulation, starting in December, only four countries will remain on the list, excluding Georgia.
Applications from citizens of Georgia that were submitted before the publication of the order will be considered according to the simplified procedure in force until now.
The document says that Georgian citizens already working in Poland on a registered declaration may continue working under that same declaration until it expires.
