Georgian Border Police Head holds introductory meeting with newly appointed U.S. Defence Attaché
The Head of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Colonel Davit Tamazashvili, convened an introductory meeting with Georgia’s newly appointed U.S. Defence Attaché.
According to the Department of Border Protection, during the meeting, the Head of the Border Police highlighted the fruitful cooperation between Georgia and the United States in border security, and outlined the Border Police’s priorities and plans to the representatives of the U.S. Embassy.
“Both parties expressed their full readiness to deepen their cooperation,” the department stated. “The Head of the Border Police extended his best wishes to the newly appointed Defence Attaché, Colonel Jonathan Adams, for a successful tenure in Georgia.”
