Georgian Ambassador views attending NATO anniversary summit as step towards NATO integration

Georgia’s participation in the Washington summit of NATO will further advance its integration into NATO, stated Georgian Ambassador to the USA, Davit Zalkaliani.

“Inviting Georgia to the NATO anniversary summit is an important message from NATO, proving that it considers Georgia a worthy partner and a successful aspirant country. Our participation will be a significant step forward in terms of Georgia’s integration into NATO,” said Davit Zalkaliani.

According to him, it is important that the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ilia Darchiashvili, who leads the Georgian delegation, participates in several formats, one of the important formats being the meeting with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs.
