Georgian Ambassador to U.S. meets with Senator Markwayne Mullin

Tamar Taliashvili, Georgian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United States, held a meeting with Senator Markwayne Mullin of Oklahoma, a member of the U.S. Senate Appropriations, Armed Services, Health, Education, Labour, and Pensions (HELP), and Indian Affairs Committees.

According to the Georgian Embassy in the United States, the discussion centred on the prospects for strengthening Georgian-American relations.

During the meeting, the Ambassador highlighted Senator Mullin’s personal contribution to supporting the development of bilateral ties and expressed heartfelt gratitude, recognising him as a true friend of Georgia.

The conversation also addressed the current regional situation, recent developments, and the significance of President Donald Trump’s peace initiatives.

Additionally, the two sides exchanged views on the opportunities available on the international stage.
