Georgian Ambassador to U.S. meets Mayor of District of Columbia

Georgian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the U.S., Tamar Taliashvili, met the Mayor of Washington’s District of Columbia, Muriel Bowser.

Tamar Taliashvili wrote in her Facebook post that the Mayor congratulated her on the launch of the diplomatic mission and wished her success in strengthening the U.S.-Georgia relations.

“The role and significance of ambassadors and diplomatic missions in Washington’s public, as well as economic and cultural life, were emphasised. Representatives of the diplomatic corps, as well as central and local authorities in the U.S., attended the event,” Taliashvili said.
