Georgian Ambassador to Peru hands over credentials to Peruvian President

Georgian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Peru (with residence in Brazil), Zurab Mchedlishvili handed over letters of credence to the President of Peru, Dina Boluarte.

During the solemn ceremony at the Presidential palace, the Ambassador met with Peru’s Foreign Minister, Elmer Schialer Salcedo.

The sides reviewed bilateral relations and future cooperation prospects. Georgian Ambassador expressed commitment to contributing to the political dialogue and bilateral high-level visits as well as to the development of cultural and economic ties between Georgia and Peru.

Ambassador Zurab Mchedlishvili thanked Peru’s Foreign Minister, Elmer Schialer Salcedo for unwavering support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The FM wished the Georgian Ambassador a successful diplomatic mission and expressed readiness to cooperate closely with Georgia.
