Georgian Ambassador to Bulgaria praises declaration adopted by Bulgarian parliament

“The declaration adopted by Bulgaria in support of Georgia bears a historic character since it was the first ever such declaration approved in the Bulgarian National Assembly,” said Otar Berdzenishvili, Georgian Ambassador to Bulgaria.

According to the Ambassador, the declaration supports Georgia’s European aspirations, the country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Within the framework of the Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili’s visit to Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Parliament, on October 13, passed a declaration backing Georgia’s bid for EU candidate status.
