Georgia to open land borders

Georgia will open land borders from Tuesday. The Interagency Coordination Council decided to open land borders from June 1 within the framework of easing Covid-19 related restrictions on May 25.

Crossing Georgian state borders will be possible with the document confirming a person’s being fully vaccinated or a negative PCR test result.

Visitors will be obliged to take PCR test repeatedly within 72 hours of their stay in the country. Also, foreign visitors should have health insurance obtained in their countries or in Georgia.

Canada, Japan, Kuwait, China, South Korea, Moldova and Oman were added to the list of countries.
