Georgia reported 4,775 coronavirus cases, 19,242 recoveries, and 32 deaths on February 21, the official figures show.
18,351 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 11,329 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 7,022 were PCR tests.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 2,617 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 601 cases, and the Adjara region with 378 cases.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 26,02%, while 29,97% in the past week.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1,553,668 among them, 1,407,776 people recovered and 15,888 died.
There are 12 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 5,585 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 896 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
Currently, out of 1,246 critical patients, 289 require mechanical ventilation.
As of today, 2,797,346 people got the coronavirus vaccine, with 342 in a day.
