Georgia reported 3 115 coronavirus cases, 11 767 recoveries, and 43 deaths on Tuesday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1 347 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 461 cases, and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 266 cases.
A total of 17 527 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 13 948 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 3 579 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 17,77%, while 23,53% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 619 274, among them 1 529 623 people recovered and 16 274 died.
3 025 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized.
As of March 3, 2 823 426 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 909 in a day.
