Georgia reported 159 coronavirus cases, 328 recoveries, and two deaths on Monday, the official figures show.
13,730 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 9,275 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 4,455 were PCR tests.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 89 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 23 cases and the Shida Kartli region with 12 cases.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 275,148, among them, 268,565 people recovered and 3,650 died.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 1,16 %, while 1.53% in the past 14 days.
There are 211 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 1,358 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 131 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
Currently, out of 269 critical patients, 75 require mechanical ventilation.
