Georgia reported 13,150 coronavirus cases, 8,503 recoveries, and 35 deaths on January 31, the official figures show.
45,623 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 27,148, tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 18,475 were PCR tests.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 7,078 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 1,740 cases, and the Adjara region with 1,734 cases.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 28,82%, while 23,8% in the past week.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1,175,923 among them, 1,009,778 people recovered and 14,980 died.
There are 38 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 5,433 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 2,000 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
Currently, out of 1,034 critical patients, 268 require mechanical ventilation.
As of today, 2,712,889 people got the coronavirus vaccine, with 1,665 in a day.
