Georgia receives medical shipment from Germany

Georgia has received medical shipment from Germany. The goods’ handing over ceremony to Lugar Research Center was attended by German Ambassador to Georgia Hubert Knirsch, Military Attaché and Head of the National Center for Diseases Control and Public Health Amiran Gamkrelidze.

The shipment includes molecular tests and serological tests, which work on blood samples instead of nasal swabs that is novelty for Georgia.

Gamkrelidze said that molecular tests and serological tests are more precise analogues to rapid tests and will be used both in laboratory researches and field works.
