Georgia receives 40 000 PCR and 20 000 antibody tests from China

Georgia has received 40 000 PCR and 20 000 antibody tests from China, including personal protection kits.

Antibody tests were gifted to Georgia by China. The charter flight was operated by GeoSky airlines.

Ekaterine Tikaradze, the Minister of Health met the cargo at the airport. The minister stressed the need to strictly adhere to the recommendations in order to maintain a positive epidemiological situation in the country.

“We are doing well to prevent the spread of the virus and, therefore, the peak announced by the end of April has not been reached, but it does not allow us to relax,” Said Ekaterine Tikaradze.
