Georgia ranks in Europe's top 20 per World Bank's Safety and Security Index
The World Bank has published its Safety and Security Index and global ranking.
According to research prepared by the World Economic Forum, Singapore has the safest environment for society globally, while Iceland ranks first in Europe.
Georgia ranked 25th in the global rating and 14th in Europe’s best twenty.
Per World Bank data, Georgia surpasses many developed states in the safety and security index, all countries of the G7, and 24 EU and NATO member states: the United States, Great Britain, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Spain, Sweden, Ireland, Latvia, Austria, Montenegro, Poland, North Macedonia, Albania, Lithuania, Belgium, Slovakia, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Turkey, and so on.
