Four teams have departed EuroBasket after the quarter-finals, finalising their positions in the tournament standings.

The primary criteria for ranking the teams were: group position, results in the group stage, and point difference. Based on these factors, the Georgian team has secured the eighth spot.

Lithuania – 2nd in Group B (4-1, +38)
Poland – 2nd in Group D (3-2, +13)
Slovenia – 3rd in Group D (3-2, +17)
Georgia – 4th in Group C (2-3, -19)

Previously, the remaining positions were allocated as follows: 9. France; 10. Serbia; 11. Italy; 12. Latvia; 13. Bosnia; 14. Israel; 15. Portugal; 16. Sweden; 17. Spain; 18. Belgium; 19. Estonia; 20. Montenegro; 21. Great Britain; 22. Iceland; 23. Czech Republic; 24. Cyprus.
