Georgia carries out direct flights to 39 countries for the time being. Georgian First Channel requested this information from the Civil Aviation Agency.
The regular flights are being implemented to 36 countries and multiple charter flights in 10 countries. Including, in the direction of several countries there are both regular and non-scheduled flights.
In 2019, regular flights were launched in the direction of Switzerland, Denmark, Uzbekistan and Malta.
Sweden and Finland will be added to the list in 2020, as Wizz Air Company plans to launch flights from Kutaisi International Airport. The Indian Air Company Indigo plans to enter the Georgian market, which will operate on the Delhi-Tbilisi airline.
In addition, Georgia has
started negotiations with the US on launching direct flights.
