Georgia has expressed solidarity with Turkey over the attack on Turkish soldiers in Idlib.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Alexander Khvtisiashvili and the representative of the Turkish Embassy in Georgia Onur Sevin discussed the ongoing developments in Idlib at today’s meeting.

Alexander Khvtisiashvili reaffirmed Georgia’s support for its strategic partner – Turkey, condemned the violent attack on Turkish soldiers and expressed regret over their deaths.

The parties hope the international community will more actively involve in the processes happening in Syria.
