Georgia elected as Co-chairman of UNSC Reforms Group

Georgia was elected as co-chairman of United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Reforms Group based on the decision made by UN 72nd General Assembly.

Kakha Imnadze, Georgia’s Permanent Representative in UN and Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations were presented as co-chairmen of intergovernmental negotiations.

“Georgia is already engaged in negotiations processes and it will be leading talks together with UN member states in reaching agreements,” Imnadze said.
