Georgia draws 1:1 with Cape Verde in friendly match

The Georgian national team played a friendly match against Cape Verde, ending in a 1:1 draw.

The match was held at Ramaz Shengelia Stadium in Kutaisi.

Georgia fielded its second squad, as head coach Willy Sagnol used the June friendlies to evaluate players for future official matches. His final selection will be revealed in the September fixtures.

1:1 – Mendes (77’, penalty)

As a reminder, Georgia hosted the Faroe Islands on June 5 and won 1:0.
