Georgia becomes associated member of CERN

Georgia has become an associated member of the European Organization for Nuclear Research CERN.

The majority of Georgian scientists lead their activities on behalf of other countries. Association with the center will resolve this problem.

Membership will also facilitate engagement of students in scientific works. Mikheil Chkhenkeli, Minister of Education and Science will visit CERN in February, 2018.
