Gelati Rehabilitation Committee nears completion of temporary roofing at Gelati Monastery

The Gelati Rehabilitation Committee announced that the temporary roofing works on the main cathedral of Gelati Monastery, including the dome, are nearing completion.
According to the Committee, German contractors are leading the ongoing restoration efforts.
“After several weeks of suspension due to disruptions in material supply, the extensive temporary roofing project is on track to be fully completed by the end of this week,” the Committee stated.
