“The European People’s Party (EPP) does not stop; it appears they have been given a new task to tarnish Georgia’s reputation. The EPP is the party of Kubilius, Fotiga and Raisa, the Communist, which blames Georgia for dual standards. Georgia did not impose sanctions on Russia, and if it has to do with bargaining, this is open and obvious,” said Irakli Zarkua, a member of the Georgian Dream (GD) party.

According to Zarkua, accusations against Georgia are groundless.

Accusations against Georgia are groundless, and we will not tolerate any of this. The EPP is the UNM’s satellite, supporter party,” he said.

Rustavi 2 TV obtained a letter addressed to the European Commission President by members of the European People’s Party (EPP). The letter states that the Georgian government assists Russia in bypassing sanctions.
