GD to endorse Mikheil Kavelashvili’s presidential candidacy

“Mikheil Kavelashvili, the Georgian Dream MP nominated for the presidential position, will focus his activities on national interests. He is a patriotic individual and will receive our party’s full support,” stated Mamuka Mdinaradze, Executive Secretary of the Georgian Dream party.

Mdinaradze also criticized President Salome Zourabichvili, claiming, “She turned everything upside down.”

“During the first half of her term, Salome Zourabichvili attempted to operate within her mandated competencies. However, she then exceeded not only her responsibilities but all areas of public service.

Mikheil Kavelashvili is a committed pro-national individual and a true patriot with a solid understanding of the political landscape and the national challenges facing our country. I believe all of his activities will align with national interests, and thus he will have our team’s full support. Our endorsement is not based solely on friendship. We express our confidence in him because he embodies the national interest; he is the most reliable candidate we have met,” Mdinaradze affirmed.
