“The rating of the Georgian Dream has not dropped. Our team has strong support from the public,” Givi Mikanadze, a member of the parliamentary majority, echoed the IRI survey.

“Society is tired of the current processes artificially created by the opposition. Sixty per cent of Georgian citizens do not support the parliament boycott. Public calls on the politicians to take up their seats,” the majority MP stated.

International Republican Institute’s (IRI) has published the results of t the public poll on Monday. Amid political deadlock between the opposition and the ruling party, 60 per cent of citizens either “definitely” (42 per cent) or “somewhat” (18 per cent) do not support the opposition’s boycott of Parliament.
