Gas prices in Europe fell to lowest level since Ukrainian war

Gas prices in Europe have fallen to record lows since the start of the war in Ukraine, BBC reported.

As of January 2, the price was 72.75 euros per megawatt hour, which is almost five times less than the August price.

The decline in gas prices continued steadily in December. According to the BBC, in Europe this is explained by a warm winter.
