Gakharia-For Georgia's Akubardia: GD in panic over lack of recognition for its government

“Ivanishvili’s Dream is in a state of panic due to the lack of recognition for its parliament and government from European capitals, a situation prompted by the ongoing protests of the Georgian people and our collective efforts,” stated Teona Akubardia, a member of the Gakharia-For Georgia party, during a briefing.

According to Akubardia, the Georgian people have already achieved a significant victory.

“This is why the Dream is so frustrated and continues to attack its own citizens. Investment levels have decreased, and the impending sanctions against Ivanishvili and the oligarchic, authoritarian regime pose a serious challenge. These aggressive actions further demonstrate their fear and weakness, especially as public servants stand firm in their duty to protect the Constitution. They have failed to disrupt the ongoing protests, which continue despite the risks involved,” she asserted.
