Former Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Levan Davitashvili, has been summoned to the State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG) for questioning, the SSSG confirmed to the GPB’s First Channel.
The State Security Service will question the former minister about the contract concluded with one of the largest oil companies. Former Head of the Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation Giorgi Chikovani will also be questioned on the same issue.
“Levan Davitashvili and Giorgi Chikovani will be interrogated within the ongoing investigation of the SSSG Anti-Corruption Agency,” the SSSG said.
