Foreign Ministry continues communication both with Georgian citizens living abroad and foreigners planning to travel to Georgia

Foreign Ministry of Georgia continues active coordinated work with Georgian Embassies located in different countries and diplomatic missions accredited in Georgia regarding prevention of the outbreak of novel coronavirus.

Aleksandre Ghvtisiashvili, Deputy Foreign Minister said that active communication is kept both with Georgian citizens living abroad and foreigners who plan trips to Georgia; they are provided with recommendations and the information about the prevention measures.

“Taking the current situation into consideration, there are restrictions imposed about flights and transport movement with certain countries. Flights are suspended with China, Iran, flights have been reduced by air companies in direction of Italy,” Ghvtisiashvili said.
