Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Davit Zalkaliani will deliver a speech at the United Nations (UN) Human Rights Council. Zalkaliani will visit Geneva, Switzerland, on February 23-25.
In his speech, Georgian Foreign Minister will focus on the hard situation with respect to human rights across Georgia’s occupied territories.
Zalkaliani will participate in the high-level panel on the topic “Good Human Rights Stories about Women Empowerment and Gender Equality” to be held under the EU aegis.
Georgia is among the 15 countries of the world which was recognized as being an exemplary country with respect to human rights by the EU and UN.
Zalkaliani will hold bilateral meetings with heads of international organizations within the framework of his visit.
