For Georgia's Parulava: Public sees clearly that most opposition parties lack any sense of responsibility; UNM is the champion in this regard
“We have said it many times: we have no interest in the infighting and agendas of the opposition parties. We genuinely do not care about the mutual accusations and clashes between Bokuchava, Zhorzholiani, and Saakashvili,” stated MP Giga Parulava, Deputy Chairman of the parliamentary faction for the Gakharia For Georgia party.
According to Parulava, the majority of opposition parties today lack any sense of responsibility whatsoever.
“I believe the vast majority of the public shares this lack of interest, as they have once again witnessed how these opposition parties conduct themselves, both toward one another and toward the public. We genuinely have no interest in the mutual recriminations and infighting between Bokuchava, Zhorzholiani, and Saakashvili.
I believe our citizens face far greater and more pressing problems than the squabbles of Zhorzholiani, Bokuchava, or Saakashvili. They will presumably sort out their own mess. We do not shy away from criticising others. Irresponsibility is particularly characteristic of the United National Movement. Through such irresponsible actions and agendas, they are actively helping Georgian Dream maintain its grip on power.
The public sees clearly, and will see even more clearly tomorrow, the damage wrought first by the United National Movement’s governance, and subsequently by their presence in the opposition landscape. This applies to the Georgian opposition space as a whole. Whether it is the United National Movement or any other group, every opposition party bears a duty of responsibility. Today, the public sees clearly that most opposition parties completely lack this responsibility. The United National Movement is the absolute champion in this regard,” Parulava stated.
