“When we talk about the opposition, the only action we have seen from their side was the irresponsible behaviour on October 4,” said MP Giorgi Sharashidze, a member of the Gakharia for Georgia party.

According to him, that day did not bring any benefit to the opposition or to democratic processes.

“On the contrary, dozens of people are serving unjust sentences. As for May 26, we always celebrate this day together with the Georgian people, and we will do so again this year. When and what the boycotters will do is up to them, but I do not expect anything good from them, especially on May 26,” Sharashidze added.
