For Georgia’s Khvedeliani: Politicians, claiming visa liberalisation should halt, harm Georgia

“The international community’s voices are growing sharper. It is both correct and appropriate to recognise that, under the conditions of the Georgian Dream government, the country finds itself in a state of self-isolation. However, our political team worked diligently to ensure that these restrictions do not jeopardise visa liberalisation,” said Tata Khvedeliani, a member of the Gakharia for Georgia party.

She emphasised that everyone must unite in efforts to prevent any setbacks to visa liberalisation.

“We must all work together to safeguard the achievements our people have earned, because any deterioration would be detrimental to them. Restrictions must not impact visa liberalisation, as this would directly harm the country and its citizens. It is therefore profoundly damaging if any politician suggests halting visa liberalisation; the Georgian nation does not deserve this.

Naturally, it is vital that restrictions do not apply to visa liberalisation and do not adversely affect our people,” added Tata Khvedeliani.
