Food Safety National Agency discovers meat of horse and donkey in meat products

Officers of Food Safety National Agency checked meat selling units across Tbilisi and discovers meat of horse and donkey in meat products.

The 20 samples were taken during the inspection. Meat of Horse and donkey were discovered in 7 samples.

The producers of meat products were fined in the amount of 1000 GEL. They were asked to withdraw the products from the market.
