FM meets with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister
During the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili met with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.
The meeting was marked by mutual satisfaction as both ministers observed that the friendly and partnership relations between their countries continue to grow strongly, both bilaterally and within multilateral frameworks.
The positive exchange of high-level visits was highlighted, notably the visit of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to Georgia. During this visit, the UAE expressed its readiness to undertake significant investment projects in Georgia and to develop cooperation across various sectors.
Discussions centred on collaboration in the field of investments, the deepening of trade and economic ties, and the strategic importance of the Middle Corridor. Particular attention was given to Georgia’s advantageous geographical position, attractive investment climate, and favourable business environment.
Both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to continuing and further enhancing the fruitful cooperation between their nations.
