FM meets EU Commissioner for Economy

Ilia Darchiashvili, Georgian Foreign Minister, met Paolo Gentiloni Silveri, European Commissioner for Economy, during his working visit to Strasbourg.

At the meeting, the FM informed the European Commissioner of the process of fulfilment of the EC’s 12-point priorities. He stressed the reforms were carried out in line with the recommendations provided by the Venice Commission and OSCE/ODIHR.

The sides emphasized the need for sectoral integration with the European Union and pledged to intensify the cooperation further.
