Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili welcomed the visiting UN-accredited permanent representatives from Burundi, Lesotho, Nepal, and Kuwait.
During the meeting, the Minister highlighted the positive significance of such visits. She briefed the ambassadors on Georgia’s foreign policy priorities, the situation in occupied regions, the country’s regional role, ongoing reforms, economic progress, and cooperation with the UN, as well as Georgia’s contributions to the international community’s efforts in addressing global challenges.
The Permanent Representatives toured the occupation line in Khurvaleti village and visited the IDP settlement in Tserovani.
While in Georgia until April 27, the guests will engage with legislative and executive authorities and explore the Kakheti and Adjara regions.
