Georgia’s National Food Agency reports that five samples of imported milk from Soplis Nobati are being removed from the market and sealed.

The action comes after an investigation indicated that the five samples contained high amounts of aflatoxin M1.

“The National Food Agency has been undertaking research on aflatoxins in raw milk within the scope of state regulation since 2022, as stipulated by Georgian legislation and per EU legislation.

The National Food Agency promptly informs the public about infractions since preserving people’s health is a top responsibility,” the agency noted.

The examination at Wim-Bill-Dann Georgia LLC (ID 204546553 – Soplis Nobati) took place on March 28.
