Five people died in a road accident in the mountainous Tusheti region of Georgia. Two persons out of the deceased people are juveniles.
“Kamaz” type truck, presumably carrying 13 people, fell into the ravine in Tusheti region. Five people managed to jump out of the vehicle, while others – fell into the ravine. Rescuers saved 3 people. They are taken to Telavi hospital.
All the passengers are the residents of village Alvani, Akhmeta municipality of Kakheti region. Rescue operation continues. Additional groups of rescuers and First Aid brigades flew to Tusheti from Tbilisi.
