“Gakharia’s political group is fulfilling precisely the same role as the union of extremists engaged in boycott or sabotage,” Gia Volski, First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, told the GPB First Channel.

He asserted that all actions undertaken by the Gakharia for Georgia party align with the objectives, which, in Volski’s view, are shared by extremist factions.

“Eight individuals had some unresolved issues; they addressed those issues and reported back to the relevant committee. Gakharia’s political group is performing exactly the same task as the union of extremists in boycott or sabotage; they are identical.

Whether their entry into parliament or sabotage will be more effective, I cannot say. However, all of their actions precisely match the main goal of extremist groups,” Volski stated.
