Finance Minister meets Ambassador of Turkiye

Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili met the newly appointed Ambassador of Turkey to Georgia, Mustafa Türker Arı.

According to the Finance Ministry, at the introductory meeting, the Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his commencement of a diplomatic mission and wished him success in his future endeavours.

The parties discussed issues of cooperation between the two countries, both in projects of bilateral and regional significance. They accentuated facilitation of border-crossing procedures, transit capabilities, free movement of cargo and passengers and supporting trade.

The Ambassador expressed readiness to further upgrade Georgia-Turkiye cooperation.

Deputy Finance Minister Ekaterine Guntsadze attended the meeting.
