Finance Minister meets ADB Alternate Director

Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili met the Alternate Director of the Asian Development Bank, Lisa Wright, within the framework of the ADB’s 59th annual meeting hosted by Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

The sides reviewed partnership issues, accentuating successful cooperation. Attention was focused on international-scale infrastructure projects that play a key role in the development of both Georgia and the region.

The meeting emphasized the sustainability of economic and fiscal management and the results achieved by Georgia in both structural and economic reforms.

The ADB representatives reconfirmed that the Bank will continue to support the country through financing priority sectors.

Deputy Finance Minister Ekaterine Guntsadze and Advisor to the ADB Alternate Director attended the meeting.
