Finance Minister engages with WB Vice President at Annual IMF and World Bank spring meetings

Minister of Finance Lasha Khutsishvili met with Antonella Bassani, the World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia, during the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank’s annual spring meetings.

According to the Ministry of Finance, their discussions centred on enhancing the partnership between Georgia and the World Bank, examining the country’s macroeconomic parameters, and reviewing investment projects and reforms planned for both the current and medium-term future.

Minister Khutsishvili expressed his gratitude to the Vice President for the World Bank’s significant contributions to Georgia’s development and cooperation in financing priority sectors.

The meeting was attended by Roland Price, Regional Director of the World Bank for the South Caucasus, along with Deputy Ministers of Finance Giorgi Kakauridze and Ekaterine Guntsadze, as well as Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Vakhtang Tsintsadze.
