Federalists’ leader: Change of regime impossible without democratic parties supported by people

“The U.S. does not change governments; it removes its adversaries. The Georgian people must change the government,” wrote Tamar Chergoleishvili, leader of the Federalists Party, in her Facebook post.

According to Chergoleishvili, a change of the regime is impossible without democratic parties “fortified by the support of people.”

“Buble, do not weep. You should select your favourite opposition party and fortify it with support. I have been telling you this for years. Choose your favourite political leader you trust and support them. You may or may not personally like me. I can be the leader of only those who trust me (I cannot lead those who distrust me). Some may like those whom I envy. Rally, sanction, alternative.

The U.S. does not change governments. It removes its adversaries. The Georgian people should change the government. They must create pressure in the streets, which will exhaust the regime. The Georgian people should support the leaders who can consolidate allies in the international arena. The Georgian people should strengthen the alternative, which will change the regime! Change of the regime is impossible without democratic parties fortified by the support of people,” she wrote.
