Facebook launches Shops for small businesses

Facebook is launching Facebook Shops that will allow small businesses to display and sell products for free.

The idea of the new feature is linked to the economic decline caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

As Facebook wrote on its website “businesses can easily create an online store on Facebook and Instagram for free. In Facebook Shops, you’ll be able to connect with customers through WhatsApp, Messenger or Instagram Direct to answer questions, offer support and more.”
