Expired meat of suspicious production discovered at sale in Gldani market

Expired meat of suspicious production of “Merkado” and “Suzali” LTDs were discovered for sale at Gldani agrarian market.

Food Safety Agency reported that business operators were penalized while confiscated products will be destroyed. More than 200 kilograms of meat have been sealed.

Starting the first quarter of 2018, Food Safety Agency took 40 samples of meat products for examination. Violations were detected in 11 samples.
